#HoneyYogaChallenge

June 2020 was a strange time to talk about health. India was only just starting to unlock, immunity had become everyone's favourite topic, and most routines had fallen apart somewhere between one lockdown extension and the next. International Yoga Day landed right in the middle of all that. For Dabur Honey it marked the start of the AatmaRaksha Movement, an idea from the brand and its creative partners about taking charge of your own health, and the job was to turn it into something you could do the next morning rather than a sentiment you nod at and forget.

My part was the influencer outreach, anchored by Mandira Bedi, and I wrote both her script and the caption that went out with it. The challenge had to be small enough that nobody could fail it on day one: a yoga mat, a glass of lukewarm water with Dabur Honey stirred in, and as many surya namaskars as you can manage. No target to hit, just your own count. The caption opened on the belief the whole movement rested on, "We ourselves are responsible for our health," and then got straight to the practical: "get your Yoga mats out, stir some Dabur Honey in lukewarm water."

Mandira was the right person to say it because nobody needed convincing that she meant it. Fitness has been part of how people know her for years, so the script never had to sell her on yoga. It only had to hand the audience a morning ritual and let her make it look doable. The film crossed 1.9 million views on Dabur Honey's page, and in a month when health advice was coming from every direction, a mat and a warm glass of honey water turned out to be advice people could actually follow.
